none of his pjs fit him at first so i bought him premie size jammies and they fit (except the arms were more
like 3/4 length)
My mom ( and I) gave Ty his first bath at home and he hated it (sorry about the sideways picture, not sure what's going on.
Was happy when he was done... nice hair, right????
*2 week appointment weighed 6 lbs 3 oz! Didn't gain enough weight so we set up another appointment that Friday... needless to say that week was a fun one as I fed him ever time he made a peep. I didn't want to give him formula! Friday's visit was a success and Tyler gained enough weight to keep him from supplementing. He weighed 6 lbs 7 oz
* at 2 weeks old I gave my baby formula (long story) which made him throw up... A LOT and then green.
*at 2 weeks old my baby was taken to the ER. No worries, it was just him reacting to formula. That's why I didn't want to give him formula again! This is Ty in the ER
*5 weeks we took him to the doctor again for acid reflux. He is the spit up KING! (his medicine is nasty by the way) and he weighed 8 lbs 5 oz Seriously! He grew so fast!!
*7 weeks he threw up again and I took him to the doctor again. This time I wasn't nervous because of the last experience however the doctor said to bring him in just in case.
*7 weeks my baby was blessed and it was an awesome day. Chad gave Tyler and amazing blessing. It was so awesome to be the mother of the baby being blessed. I was soaking it up, I loved it!! The weather cooperated and it was nice and warm and to add to the awesomeness (can I say that word??) of this day my brother Scott and his wife and son flew in to surprise me at the blessing. BEST! DAY! EVER!! And my baby got to meet his Uncle Scottie, Aunt Monica, and Cousin Derek....(I will post about that another time I need to get pictures from my mom but for now here are a few pictures of what I had)
Love that it looks like he is trying give me kisses!
After a long day for my little man he was pooped! So I had to take advantage of the opportunity to snap some pictures! (But I'm only showing one hehe)
*8 weeks Tyler got to dress up for the first time for Halloween. He was the cutest Mickey Mouse I'd ever seen and well... because he was mickey mouse I dressed up as Minnie mouse... It was fun! I haven't dressed up in years! (I will post about this later but again, for now, here is a sneak peak of how cute he looked!! Sorry the picture is sideways I can't fix it...)AND at 8 weeks my sweet baby got a fever of 101.6. Luckily he didn't have to go to the hospital but we were so close to having to admit him. I am sure that would have done me in. My poor baby! Chad and Tyler's grandpa Steve gave Tyler a blessing and I felt confident Tyler would only continue to get better. For now Tyler's fever has broken but he has a miserable cough and has a full blown ear infection as the doctor said. I'm supposed to monitor his breathing and his coughing. If any get worse I'm supposed to take him in right away. My poor little guy! The past three nights we have slept on the couch with him sleeping on my chest because it is easier for me to sleep with something helping me to support him while we both sleep. I think it's a good thing because at least we can get a good nights sleep. I can hardly put him down. Yesterday seemed a little better and I was able to put him down for a little bit but every time he coughs I just want to pick him back up. Today he seems really fussy so I have to wonder if he is feeling a little worse today than yesterday! Hopefully he will feel perfect again soon so he doesn't have to be so uncomfortable. Thankfully Chad is home today so he can help me and I can do some last minute project. I know he is comfortable being in our arms. His little voice sounds so sick. I feel so bad for the little guy. BUT I know he will get better....
I have so many things to blog about I wonder if I will ever catch up. I have to learn not to be so detailed but I can't help it. Blogging is jouraling, right??? So shouldn't I be detailed so that I can look back and remember (everything)?

AAWWHHH!!! I he's so stinkin' cute! I can't believe he's two months already!!
He's adorable! Sorry you've had to get to the doc so much! At least none of it has been toooo serious... but I'm sure it's scary nonetheless!! Hope your sleeping well! :)
He's so adorable - it's no wonder you don't want to put him down! So sad about him being sick so young - doesn't seem fair, does it? Here's hoping he'll be on the mend and you can both sleep better - good luck with it all!
